Wildlife Adventures

I'm grateful Heavenly Father placed beautiful wildlife on this earth for us to enjoy. I'm also grateful sometimes they do things like this for our YouTubing pleasure...

My apologies for the language. But I'm guessing most of us might have said the same thing.

Sleepy Homecoming

Tonight I'm grateful for my bed. I'm just now getting home from working a football game that STARTED at 8:17 PM! The latest kick-off we've ever had! It was Homecoming and we won! :)

Let's Stick With Soccer

I'm grateful my mom didn't force me to take dance classes. I took ballet once. And only once. Then it was soccer from then on out, then volleyball in high school. Thanks, Mom! :)

In reality I am probably as graceful as this cat.

PINK

I'm grateful my mother never dressed my brothers in suits like these.

The hideousness may be hard to see because of the stage lighting, BUT the Young Ambassadors wore some FABULOUS pink suits tonight during Homecoming Spectacular. Brian Stokes Mitchell (NOT Brian David Mitchell, unfortunately) headlined the show. I think it was the best one I've been to.

iGrateful

Today I'm grateful for the vision and life of Steve Jobs. I was sad to hear of his passing, but it sounds like it was a hard finish for him. Hopefully he's currently downloading a digital copy of the Book of Mormon on hTunes.

Posted on my iPad 2 :)

A New Experiment

So get myself blogging again, I've decided to try something different. For the month of October (well, starting today), I'm going to post one thing I'm grateful for each day. Today I'm starting with the fact that I'm grateful for...

Fatty BLTs made from tomatoes from my parents' garden. Mmmmm...

This is going to be a good idea, I can feel it!

Freshman English Memories

On Sunday I wanted to make a simple cake for my friend Aileen's birthday. I made a chocolate cake and used chocolate frosting. I thought it looked a little plain, so I decided to do some decorating. I decided to put a big "A" on it for "Aileen." At first I thought, "Oh, that's kind of like Alvin and the Chipmunks." But then I realized that the "A" was red and reminded me of The Scarlet Letter. So Happy Birthday to my friend, Hester!

It tasted good, though. That's what matters most!
